Childrens Portraits

In 1999 Zara was inspired after seeing works by Lord Frederic Leighton and the Old Masters at the British Museum to take on commissions for portraits of children of all ages done in red or black chalk on Roma paper. These delightful drawings require a sitting with the child during which she will take photographs which she uses as a point of reference. The results once Zara has advised on mounts and framing are exquisite.
